Putting it in Context

Read James Chapter 2
Is it enough to believe in God?
What example does the passage give?
What else do we need to do?

  1. James Ashley Says:

    1) No it is not
    2) To try to help the poor people, not just the rich
    3) Try to use the bible as a tool, not a book

Good answers, I hope you can put them into practice :-)
For question 2 I had in mind the passage where James says that even the demons believe in God and shake. It’s no good believing in God if it doesn’t change the way we act (otherwise we should be shaking like the demons).

  3. Brett Says:

    Not Completely
Treat the poor like the rich, be truthful and listen to God
Treat the bible as a spritual tool

  4. Kayne Says:

Good stuff Brett. Thats a good concept, using the Bible like a spiritual tool, not just story or a manual. See you tomorrow!
