Bible Study

1 Thessalonians 5:12-15

Who, in our Church, does v12 & 13

refer to?

What does v13, 14 & 15 say you should be

doing as part of the Church?

Do you do that?

for the 1st question i think it refers to each other, and our friends, and the 2nd question is saying that we should always try to be kind to everyone, not just in church, but on the outside of church as well

I think its all right, post me a comment, if you have time because i might forget to read the youth blog

    Ta for reading, James

Hey James, sorry I haven’t called you i’ve only just checked the blog. Your answers are right in that you should do all the things you say in them, but the passage has a more specific focus. 12&13 refer to the leaders in the church like Chris, the Leadership Team, the Pastoral Care team, your Dad, Robyn & Jimmy & me when we’re leading your group. The rest of the passage refers to everyone in the church, it means that you should be looking out for Brett, Ned, Beanie, Dan & Sally & helping them to be better Christians.
Catcha Sunday, youth groups next friday.

    Hey Kayne,
I think that v12 and v13 refer to people like Chris and the people around him as in: George, Danny Ashley, you and Jimmy. As for the other verses I think that is saying that I should look after the others in the group. I believe I do not do this aswell as I probably should.
    Ned!!!

Good stuff Ned. Thats what Bible Study is about, looking at how it applies to our lives and how we can improve. I reckon you could do a pretty good job of looking out for the other guys in the group if you tried, bring one of the eldest.
    Catcha tomorrow.
